Google Explained the Principles of the Page Experience Indicators on Pages
At a recent web conference, Google Search representative John Mueller explained that during the Page Experience update and its metrics, the search engine can segment the collected data by various sections of your website.
When Google accumulates a certain amount of data about a resource, it will be able to divide the update by site sections or groups.
This grouping process occurs based on a template principle. The system determines the pages on the site that are most similar in content.
As an example, Mueller mentioned e-commerce sites. Their product pages, with data that is updated very quickly, may be considered as a separate group of pages. The search engine can also take into account the structure of the website to identify sections. In this case, each separate group will have its own Page Experience indicators defined.
Thus, sections can be assessed differently even within the framework of the same Core Web Vitals and Page Experience of your page. They can vary according to the section or group.
