Recently, in the Google Maps mobile application, you can view people’s reviews about the activities of different organizations. For instance, if someone contacts a company, uses its services, and forms their own opinion, you can now familiarize yourself with such people’s comments on the map.

Previously, Google tried to display comments, but you could only see them on local panels in the Map. However, the new changes allow seeing reviews and comments directly in the application’s interface.

This past winter, Google already discussed the process of forming comments on Maps. Specifically, how rules are made and spread, and how people themselves influence this process.

Also, it’s worth remembering that last fall Google introduced new details in business instructions discussing the significance of user reviews. These instructions urge companies to pay attention to any reviews—both good and bad. If the feedback about a company’s activities is only positive, it raises doubts among people. It is necessary to monitor reviews and provide timely responses, as this demonstrates your attentiveness to clients. Moreover, you can always delete a comment if it doesn’t adhere to the basic rules.
